The unknown

Clouded path,

Unknown routes,

Standing alone,

Unable to comprehend what’s going on.

Fear lurking,

Hands trembling,

Legs frozen,

Not sure where to go.

But I have to take a step forward—

Staying in the same place yields no result.

Right or wrong,

I decide to move ahead.

On the move, the way appears.

There are pits that might have tripped me,

But even when I fall,

I rise again.

Finally, a light appears—

Hope finds its way.

A sojourn begins,

Yet I realise, there’s still a long way to go.
